At NAB Show 2019, Cloudfirst.io, an innovator in next-generation digital archive transformation, and Signiant, a longtime leader in intelligent file transfer, announced a new partnership that integrates Cloudfirst.io’s Rapid Migrate legacy archive migration solution with Signiant’s patented acceleration technology and SaaS platform. The combined solution will make it easy for the world’s top media companies to accelerate and modernize their archives moving off of legacy technology to leverage modern multi-cloud environments.
Rapid Migrate is a high-performance SaaS-based orchestration tool which automates massive-scale migration off legacy archive and storage management platforms to next-generation solutions that include on-premises, cloud and hybrid storage. Rapid Migrate leverages real-world data insights gathered from existing legacy archive infrastructures to elastically scale and contract resource utilization based on production demands to minimize operational impact during migration.
