The Innovation Zone is a curated experience at the heart of the HPA Tech Retreat—a dynamic environment where emerging technologies and breakthrough ideas are showcased to industry leaders. Participation is application-based and highly selective; technologies are chosen by a committee of experts for their potential to spark conversation and drive the future of media and entertainment.

Internet & Connectivity
All Innovation Zone participants will have access to the event’s standard Wi-Fi network, which is available throughout the conference venue. Exhibitors requiring dedicated internet service, enhanced bandwidth, or specialized connectivity for demonstrations may purchase additional internet services through the venue.

Unlike many industry events, the HPA Tech Retreat is intentionally non-commercial. We don’t select sessions based on sponsorships, product launches, or sales presentations. We look for ideas, insights, lessons learned, and honest conversations that help move our industry forward.

A New Venue

La Quinta Resort & Club will be the home of the 2027 HPA Tech Retreat. Beginning February 14th, this classic desert hideaway, nestled beneath the Santa Rosa mountains in Palm Springs, will become a lively nexus for our tech and creative communities.

A storied Hollywood landmark with a long history as a retreat for filmmakers, actors, producers, and industry visionaries, La Quinta has long been a place where entertainment professionals gathered to recharge, connect, and create. That legacy makes it a fitting home for the next chapter of the HPA Tech Retreat.

The exclusive retreat environment will foster opportunities for networking, collaboration, and innovation — from Sunday’s welcome activities through the final day of sessions.
