Launched in 2006, the awards were created to promote creative artistry in post-production and recognize the talent, innovation, and technical accomplishment behind the work audiences experience on screen. Today, the HPA Awards continue to bring the industry together to celebrate exceptional achievement and the people whose craft shapes film, television, streaming, and the wider content ecosystem.

From pre-production and capture through VFX, post-production, distribution, and audience experience, the program spotlights practical innovations that are helping professionals create, manage, deliver, and experience content in new ways.
