Convergent Announces Formation of Convergent Risks India

Chris Johnson CEO Convergent Risks announced the formation of Convergent Risks India PVT Ltd. With a registered office in Mumbai, the company formation cements Convergent’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.

Johnson said: “We are delighted to have formalised a permanent presence in the Indian market  with the formation of the new company. Resources will be initially base in Mumbai and Chennai with further plans for expansion throughout 2021”. He went on to say: “We are witnessing increased demand for security assessments and associated services in the region especially in vfx, localisation and post production. The pandemic has created both challenge and opportunity and we felt it was important to demonstrate a continued commitment to our global and regional customers.”

Convergent has been conducting TPN and studio based remote security assessments in all regions since the pandemic started, and where permitted, Covid compliant site assessments are now taking place.

In response to the increased use of SaaS applications and cloud based streaming solutions to facilitate remote working, Convergent will continue to develop suitably qualified and experienced resources to expand its service for conducting cloud security reviews and application pen testing.
