Sohonet Launches ClearView Rush: A Leap Forward in Studio Review, Built for Creative Executives

iPad-first, driven by metadata and backed by Sohonet's 24/7 white-glove concierge support, Rush puts every cut, reel and shot in context for the executives.

Sohonet today launched ClearView Rush, a review platform purpose-built for studio creative executives. Designed for studios running multiple full-scale productions, Rush brings every cut, reel and shot across the slate into one view; organized around the context that drives creative decisions, and wraps it in the 24/7 white-glove concierge support studios expect from Sohonet.

“Rush is a leap forward for studio review,” said Chuck Parker, CEO of Sohonet. “It’s purpose-built for the creative executives who make the decisions. It’s built on metadata so the right cut is always in front of them, and it’s backed by round‑the‑clock, premium client service trusted by studios worldwide. That combination makes it a fundamentally better way to review.”

Built for creative executives – iPad first

Creative executives make the decisions that move a production forward, and they rarely make them at a desk. Rush is designed around the way they work: a native iPad experience that includes offline review, AirPlay to screening-room displays, and the ability to move between the office, the screening room and the road without losing their place.

Metadata-driven assets, not files

Rush carries edit decisions and metadata with the media, so assets update as the edit evolves. Executives can filter dailies by camera or circle takes, move scene to scene within a cut and always see the current version, without thinking about file names, formats or storage. For the studio, the same assets serve every step of the pipeline, with no re-ingest and no duplicate uploads.

White-glove concierge support, 24/7

Every Rush customer is backed by Sohonet’s always‑on, studio‑grade support team: the same people who have supported the world’s biggest productions for 30 years. Your production isn’t bound by the office work week, and the support for your creative review workflow shouldn’t be any different.

Fits the pipeline studios already run

Rush works alongside the tools production teams already rely on rather than replacing them. It connects to wider workflows through industry standards such as OpenTimelineIO, alongside APIs and integrations, with studio-grade security from day one: per-user and per-review permissions, SSO, and encryption and watermarking as standard.

“We took a thoughtful approach to workflow, focusing on how media moves through the studio process.” adds Erik Strauss, chief product officer at Sohonet. “Built on open standards for interoperability, Rush delivers a richer, more contextualised experience for studio creatives, and enables a more collaborative process with production.”
