Tucker Downs Joins ROE Visual as Research and Development Manager

ROE Visual has announced that Tucker Downs will be joining the company in an R&D role in the company’s Los Angeles office. Working as ROE’s Research and Development Manager, Downs will apply the appropriate research protocols to expand ROE’s breadth of expertise in display technology, with a focus on color science.
Downs joins the ROE team part way through earning his Ph.D. in Color Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he has studied color quality, camera/lighting interactions, and display technology at length. Before starting his Ph.D., Downs held an R&D position at Megapixel VR where he specialized in calibration methods and LED driver configurations. Before Megapixel VR, he worked at VER and Electronic Theater Controls.
