Senior Vice President, Data & AI, Warner Bros. Discovery
Duan Peng serves as Senior Vice President, Data & AI at Warner Bros. Discovery. She currently leads a global data & AI group including data science, data engineering, Machine Learning engineering, business intelligence & analytics, data product, and data governance.
Duan recently supported the launch of Max in the United States. As part of Warner Bros. Discovery Data & AI division, Duan’s team works closely with internal partners across Max to create a personalized user experience, using data to drive recommendations and increase customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Discovery, Duan worked as a senior data analytics leader in various industries and companies including Fox, NBCUniversal, Hyundai Capital America, HSBC, and Ameriprise Financial. In these various roles, Duan built a proven track record of delivering innovative and high-impact data and AI solutions that drove business transformation and growth. Most recently before her time at WarnerMedia, Duan served as Vice President of Data Science at The Walt Disney Company, where she led a data science and machine learning engineering team as part of the Direct-to-Consumer and International technology group. Whether on Wall Street or in Hollywood, Duan’s passion has always been tied to data, AI, and delivering results.
Duan received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Miami and her B.A. in International Economics from Beijing Normal University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, and traveling across the world with her family.
