Event Details
Making movies is costly and time-consuming. Preserving them is critical.
The IMF UG invites you to join worldwide experts around a program focused on archives in post-houses and studios for the production and re-purposing of movies and episodic content, and the applicability of the Interoperable Master Format (IMF) to these applications.
IMF has established itself as a recognized and standardized intermediate format in this process. While IMF was originally conceived as a common source format for different distribution channels, it has emerged as a promising candidate for archiving and preservation of movies.
This workshop is one of a series of two. A sister event will take place earlier in Amsterdam.
