Vubiquity CEO Darcy Antonellis will be in conversation with Loren Nielsen at a special WIP event on Thursday, August 27. Prior to joining Vubiquity, Antonellis was President, Technical Operations and Chief Technology Officer at Warner Bros. Entertainment, where she was instrumental in the studio’s transition to digital technologies and automation for distribution across theatrical, home entertainment and television. She led the first Hollywood anti-piracy organization focused on business development, technology, enforcement and legislation to enable compelling, competitive options to piracy.

Darcy serves as Division President of Amdocs Media a division of Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) and Chief Executive Officer of Vubiquity Inc., a global media and entertainment distribution technology and services provider. Vubiquity delivers premium content and user experiences across a host of digital consumer-facing video services to now 120 countries and supporting 80 languages. The company maintains operations in Los Angeles, London and Toronto.

Prior to joining Vubiquity, Darcy was President, Technical Operations and Chief Technology Officer at Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. She was instrumental in the studio’s transition to digital technologies and automation for distribution across theatrical, home entertainment and television. This also included the conversion to digital cinema and the creation of an industry-wide venture to support effective digital delivery for all of the studios and participating cinemas. She led the first Hollywood anti-piracy organization focused on business development, technology, enforcement and legislation to enable compelling, competitive options to piracy.

Before joining Warner Bros., as an executive at CBS, Darcy’s responsibilities included management of the network’s operations in New York and for the CBS News Bureau in Washington, D.C. A veteran of three Olympics for CBS Sports and a three-time Emmy winner for technical production and engineering, Darcy’s news experiences included being stationed in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the Gulf War, as well as coverage of several political and newsworthy, global events.

Darcy serves as a Class I Director for Cinemark Holdings Inc., NYSE (CNK). She is a member of the WTA Global Advisory Council to provide insights into media and technology to benefit women’s professional tennis. She is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a SMPTE Fellow and has been issued a number of patents. Darcy received her undergraduate education from Temple University’s School of Engineering and a graduate MBA degree from Fordham University. The proud mom of two adult children, Andrea and Sebastian, she is also the 2017 – 2018 Chair of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Heart Association’s GO RED for WOMEN campaign.
