HPA is proud to present two seminars focusing on virtual production, supported by member companies ROE Visual and Mo-Sys. Both events have limited capacity and are only open to HPA members.
September 12: On-Set Virtual Production Panel and Demo at ROE Visual An HPA Member Event
This educational event, appropriate for executives and creatives with some experience working with virtual production, will take place at the company’s Chatsworth office, utilizing the building’s facilities including an in-house LED volume. The focal point of the evening will explore the working use of on-set virtual production (OSVP). Specifically, the event will take a transparent look at the cost of virtual production, uncovering when and where using the cutting-edge technology is most beneficial for filmmakers.
September 26: Fundamentals of Virtual Production at Mo-Sys Academy An HPA Member Event
This intimate instructional introduction to virtual production (VP), a beginner’s guide to VP and how VP works, will take place at the Mo-Sys Academy studio in Hawthorne, near the LAX airport. The event will provide a detailed overview of VP, demonstrating the capabilities of ICVFX (LED wall/monitor), real-time compositing (green screen), AR (augmented reality), hybrid VP, and XR focus.
