Breaking Attendance at WTF? Part 2
(Los Angeles, CA) During the recent Sales Career Resource Group (SCRG) lunch at the Beverly Garland, “WTF?, Part 2,” presented a panel of industry experts and luminaries to a capacity audience, the largest in SCRG’s history. The panel, moderated by Hollywood Post Alliance President Leon Silverman, featured Daniel Cahn, ACE, President Board of Directors, Motion Picture Editors Guild, Larry Chernoff, CEO, MTI; Michael Cioni, CEO, Light Iron; cinematographer Steven Poster, ASC, President International Cinematographers Guild Local 600; Tom Vice, Vice President, General Manager, nextLAB, FotoKem; David Waters, Vice President of On Location Services, Technicolor; and Joachim Zell, Vice President Image Science/Remote Services and Technical Director, Deluxe.
The HPA® SCRG luncheons are engaging, expert-driven educational events that create community among sales, marketing and business development professionals, provide a forum of support and resources, and deepen the value of the HPA by exemplifying its ideals and commitment to the post production industry.
In the past several months, attendance and interest in the group has grown significantly. Recent topics included the predecessor to On-Set Dailies: WTF? Part 2; On-Set Dailies: WTF (What’s the Flow), as well as, High Noon: Shoot Out at the Editorial Corral, Live Production and Post…Catch It If You Can! and others. Some of the most insightful panelists in the industry participate in these events, which are meant to help guide the professional growth and knowledge base of the sales and marketing community engaged in post production.
The next event is scheduled for December 2012 at the Beverly Garland. More details will be announced shortly.
